چکیده

We study trie dynamics of a single hole in an otherwise half-filled two-dimensional Hubbard model by introducing a nonlocal Bogolyubov transformation in trie antiferromagnetic state. This allows us to rewrite trie Hamiltonian in a form that makes a separation between highenergy processes (involving double-occupancy) and low-energy puysics possible. A diagrammatic scheme is developed tuat allows for a systematic study of trie dilferent processes delocalizing a carrier in the antiferromagnetic state. In particular, the so-called Trugman

Phasediagramfor the excitonMott transition in infinite-dimensional electron-hole systems

To understand the essence of the exciton Mott transition in three-dimensional electron-hole systems, the metalinsulator transition is studied for a two-band Hubbard model in infinite dimensions with interactions of electronelectron (hole-hole) repulsion U and electron-hole attraction −U . By using the dynamical mean-field theory, the phase diagram in the U -U ′ plane is obtained (which is exact...

Magnetic crossover in the one-dimensional Hubbard model in the presence of a magnetic field

The ground-state (GS) properties of the one-dimensional (1D) Hubbard model at half-filling are examined in the presence of a magnetic field using the generalized mean-field (GMF) approach, which includes the spin-density and the electron–hole correlations on an equal footing. The GMF formalism provides insight into both the metal–insulator transition and the transition from itinerant to localiz...

Finite temperature hole dynamics in the t − J model : exact results for high dimensions

Finite temperature hole dynamics in the t−J model: exact results for high dimensions PACS. 71.10.Fd – Lattice fermion models (Hubbard model, etc.). Abstract. – We discuss the dynamics of a single hole in the t−J model at finite temperature, in the limit of large spatial dimensions. The problem is shown to yield a simple and physically transparent solution, that exemplifies the continuous therma...

The two–dimensional (2D) t–t’–Hubbard model is studied within the slave–boson (SB) theory. At half–filling, a paramagnetic to antiferromagnetic phase transition of first order at a finite critical interaction strength Uc(t /t) is found. The dependences on U/t and t/t of the sublattice magnetization and of the local magnetic moment are calculated. Our results reasonably agree with recent (Projec...

Phase separation in the particle-hole asymmetric Hubbard model

The paramagnetic phase diagram of the Hubbard model with nearest-neighbor and next-nearest-neighbor NNN hopping on the Bethe lattice is computed at half-filling and in the weakly doped regime using the self-energy functional approach for dynamical mean-field theory. NNN hopping breaks the particle-hole symmetry and leads to a strong asymmetry of the electron-doped and hole-doped regimes. Phase ...
